NAMING - CONCEPT - CREATIVE DIRECTION
The challenge : How to create a rendez-vous that engages the 15-35 target and introduce them to the Formula E universe, while positioning Nissan as the spearhead of electric motorsports ?
The creative idea : In addition to the traditional Nissan booth tour, we convinced Nissan to write an original story, and publish it as only a Japanese brand could legitimately do : a manga.
Inspired by Michel Vaillant or Slam Dunk, Nissan’s Electric Quest - created by Nejib and Cedric Tchao - follows a young pilot into the unforgiving world of competition, industrial espionnage and cutting-edge technology, revealing the ins and outs of Formula E to a broad new audience in an action-packed thrilling story.
A personal victory? Originally thought as an episodic social media publication, the manga ended up being printed!
